Redefine fun

Madame Simone: Let us redefine fun... as that slightly tipsy feeling you get, after your first drink of champange.
Johanna: Well then, guess I'd better just start drinking.

That's how I feel this morning. These words are from one of my favorite Lifetime Original movies. After a 10 year annivesary, her husband tells her that she's still the same, and he's not sure if that's what he wants anymore. Johanna (aka Mrs. X), ends up taking an assignment in Paris to get away, "Even the refridgerator makes me cry!", to interview the elusive Madame Simone. On the way she rediscovers herself and how to have fun. Which, fits the description as Simone redefined it.

This morning I was thinking about that. I've had those moments. When we all started playing "handsies" at the vow renewal; celebrating spring and Easter with our friends L, D, and their daughter; when you have one of those lovely conversations with someone, and you find you've got this big grin on your face... So, I don't need to start drinking just yet. Besides, I'm not fond of champange, and too much alcohol leaves me feeling more ill then tipsy. (Yes, I do still get quite giggly though!)

Perhaps, she's just not getting the full picture. I think that I do have fun; I'm just trying to have fun in her way, instead of mine.

Then again, maybe I just think too much. :)

Oh, I do think too much. :) One of my nicknames used to be "The Thinker", just like Rodan's sculpture.

You should see the post I just left for you for the last part. I'm beginning to realize that her sense of fun is different than mine. Especially because, I did have a lot of fun on Saturday. Like I said in the last post, I think she's worried about us, because we've been dealing with a lot of stuff (that I haven't posted on the blog, y'all get the good bits).
