Children's bliss

Nothing beats the good morning wishes and smile from a just-waking Pook, who then proceeds to snuggle up in your lap, and hug and kiss you profusely.

I adore my child.

She truly has the ability to lighten up my day and my heart.

This weekend, we broke out the Christmas decorations and Christmas movies. She's like a kid in the candy store between the new movies and the Christmas tree, oh, and the colored lights in the bedroom. As we've watched those movies, I noticed that most of them have an ongoing theme - of children growing up.

I can assure you, that this week especially, those hugs and kisses are treasured above and beyond. In fact, I've made it a point to make each of these moments sacred in some way in my heart.
